Waldingfield Farm

Waldingfield Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm, situated in the hills of Litchfield County, CT. Since their inception in 1990, they have strived to grow delicious, healthy, vibrant produce through the use of environmentally responsible farming practices and techniques. The farm built its reputation on the legendary performance of its annual heirloom tomato crop, but it continues to grow an ever-expanding array of gourmet vegetables, as well. Cloverleigh Farm
Located in Columbia, CT, Cloverleigh (klo-ver-LEE) Farm is a small diverse vegetable business that grows incredibly fresh and flavorful produce for our community in eastern Connecticut. They are certified organic by Baystate Organic Certifiers. With a focus on a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, the farm aims to connect people to a place; a place where you can talk to your farmer, a place where you can see a small farm operation in person, a place where only fresh and flavorful produce is available, a place where you can meet your neighbors, a place you can feel comfortable bringing your children, a place where there is history, and a place where a small business continues to grow through the support of the community. Follow them on Instagram.
Riverbank Farm
Since colonial times, Riverbank Farm has passed through the hands of four different families who raised crops and milked cows. Currently, Riverbank Farm grows a diversity of certified organic vegetables and cut flowers in Roxbury, CT. Clover Nook Farm
Clover Nook Farm is an 8th generation family farm with roots dating back to 1765. Clover Nook Farm is owned and operated by the Demander Family in Bethany, CT. They aim to provide the community with the highest quality fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats while utilizing sustainable farming practices. Appleberry Farm
Appleberry Farm is a flower farm located in Sandy Hook, CT, with a storied history. Farmer Kate and her sister Becky have worked to reinvigorate Appleberry Farm as a cut flower farm and magical place. Their great-grandfather, Robert Young (R.Y.) Brown purchased the Keane dairy farm in 1939 as a place for R.Y. and his wife Dorothy to provide roots for their children, Betty Lou and Bob. The Hickories

Located in Ridgefield, CT, the Hickories’ fruits and vegetables are certified organic under the Bay State Organic/USDA National Organic Program. All vegetables sold at their stand are free of synthetic pesticides and synthetic fertilizer; they have been grown following the sustainable principles of organic land care. Long Table Farm
Located in Lyme, CT, Long Table Farm practices sustainable agriculture and grows seasonal vegetables and fruits on their 4.6 acre plot. They also tend two land trust properties in Lyme. Farmer Baylee and Quinn use ecologically-based agricultural practices to manage their farms holistically. Their top priorities are enhancing biodiversity, soil health, and structure, as healthy soils grow high quality produce. Long Table Farm recycles nutrients, encourages composting on and off farm, and builds resilient systems. Massaro Community Farm

Massaro Community Farm is a non-profit, certified organic farm on a 57 acre parcel of land operated collaboratively between the Town of Woodbridge and a Board of Directors comprised of local citizens. The property was deeded to the town by the Massaro Family, who had farmed the land since 1916. Their farm operation includes a 150-member CSA, and a series of education and family-related events throughout the year.  Follow them on Instagram.

Huntsbrook Farm
Located in Quaker Hill, CT, Hunts Brook Farm is run by Farmers Digga and Teresa. It took many years to cultivate the property that exists now, including taming overgrown fields, forests and otherwise unmanaged land. In 2008, with abundant offerings from the fruitful garden beds, the farmers started a small community supported agriculture (CSA) program and expanded to sell at area farmers’ markets and stock the on-site farm stand. What began as a way to distribute surplus to family, friends and neighbors is now the cornerstone of the business. Lathrop Farmstead

Located in Lebanon, CT, Lathrop Farmstead is a certified organic farm stewarded by farmers Mia and Andrew. They offer diverse varieties of fruit, berries, vegetables, flowers, maple syrup and eggs.  Follow them on Instagram.

Hungry Reaper Farm

Located in Morris, CT, Hungry Reaper Farm believes in growing food in a manner that is beneficial to the soil, water, air, and people. On their farm, they use practices that adhere to the National Organic Program standards. Compost teas, attracting beneficial insects, crop rotation, biodiversity of plants and soil microbes, and cover cropping are just some of the strategies they use to produce delicious vegetables for their community that are both safe and ecologically friendly. While farmers often get a bad reputation for being damaging to the environment, they believe that responsible management of farmland has the power to sequester carbon, protect our natural resources, and ensure stability of our planet for generations to come. Located on 16 quiet acres in East Haddam, CT, Four Root Farm is a small and diverse Certified Organic vegetable and cut flower farm. They are committed to growing nutritious, delicious, and highly unusual produce. Off Center Farm
Off Center Farm is located minutes outside of New Haven, CT and is the result of a decade of day dreaming about growing delicious, healthy food and gorgeous flowers. Sweet Acre Farm

Located in Lebanon, CT, Sweet Acre Farm was founded by Farmers Charlotte and Jonathan. With their small crew and even smaller children, they produce Certified Organic vegetables, small fruit, eggs and cut flowers for Farmers Markets and wholesale restaurant and grocery accounts in the Hartford and Eastern CT area. They also have a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program. Sub Edge Farm

Located in Avon and Farmington, CT, Sub Edge grows organic plants, vegetables, meats and eggs for their CSA, farm-shop and local restaurants. Respecting the past and farming for the future, Sub Edge farm is a vibrant place providing thousands of people in the Greater Hartford area with food and a connection to the land, and providing a home and livelihood for their family.
